XMODS - Xtremely Small, Xtremely Fast

Friday April 28, 2006
I like RCs of all sizes but until now most of my vehicles have been fairly large cars and monster trucks. I recently downsized with an XMOD of my own. Radio Shack XMODS RC Cars are 1:28th scale radio controlled cars. Micros and minis are cute, but being the tinkerer that I am I've preferred RCs that I could hop-up and customize every which way. With XMODS you can modify, customize, and race your XMODS just like their big brother RC toys. These little RC cars have many of the features of expensive hobby-grade RCs but at a fraction of the cost (and size). After hop-ups and mods these little guys can get up to speeds between 41 and 61 mph. Wow! That's pretty darn quick. Don't believe it, check out the videos along with the other tutorials and FAQs on XMODS.
