Enter the Nitro World With an Entry-Level Stadium Truck

Thursday March 22, 2007
With the speed of an off-road buggy and the rough-and-tumble durability of the monster trucks, the stadium trucks can handle backyards, dirt tracks, and rough terrain with speed and agility. Great for off-road racing as well as ramp and hill jumping, RC stadium trucks are typically 2WD 1:10 scale and come in nitro and electric models.

I own a Traxxas Rustler nitro stadium truck. It's fast, it's tough. But in our poll asking you which is the best Nitro stadium truck, two entry-level RCs from DuraTrax and HPI currently have a slim lead over the Traxxas Rustler.

If you're ready for a nitro RC but want to ease into it with a durable truck that comes with just about everything you need all in one box, you might want to check the specs on the DuraTrax Nitro Evader ST and the HPI Firestorm 10T. Both trucks feature pull-start 3.0cc engines with 75cc fuel tanks, adjustable suspensions, aluminum chassis, and other adjustable, durable, and powerful features.
