RCs Work Hard on Land, in the Air, and on the Water
Friday March 30, 2007
RC vehicles are more than just toys. You may have heard about soldiers using RC cars to test for bombs and using RC airplanes for aerial photography. Let's not leave out the RC boats. Some scientists are using a radio controlled boat to study the effects of a regularly occurring algae bloom called red tide. The sensor-equipped RC boat, with a camera on-board, sails out into waters off the California coast and collects water samples for testing.

I’d just like to say that this report is good, possably some videoclips of R/C vehicles in action for demo purpose’s can be added at some time.
I’m glad that R/C vehicles are being used not only by the military but also by sceinceist’s who work on such things as pollution & enviromental issues. GOOD ON EM ALL.
I myself am just starting into the world of R/C, & it looks great.
