RC on the Water

Wednesday August 8, 2007
You can run RCs anytime of the year but summer is a primetime for RC action. It's also the time of year when you're going to see more boats on the water -- full-size and scale models. If you're wanting to get out in a boat for the first time, explore the About.com basics of sailing and powerboating.

But if you want to be the skipper from shore, you'll want to get familiar with the basics of RC boats:

(1) rc sailboat says:

RC sailboats are the most peaceful way to enjoy radio control boating. This way are also the

hardest rc boats to master – with a nitro or electric model boat you can just open the throttle

and blast round the lake.

SAIL BOATING WITH R/C.

WELL I FOUND THAT IN MANY WAYS SAIL’N REAL BOATS AND SAIL’N R/C CAN BE RATHER JOY FULL TO SAY THE LEASE OF IT ALL. ONE THING GOOD ABOUT R/C SAIL’N… WHEN YOUR DONE… IT GOES IN YOUR CAR AND BACK UP ON THE SHELF’.. AS FOR A REAL ONE YOU CLEAN IT PAY FOR A PLACE TO KEEP IT.. AND ONLY USE IT WHEN YOU HAVE TIME AND MONEY TO SAIL IT.
BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT R/C SAIL’N… YOU CAN SIT ALL DAY LONG (IF YOU GOT WIND) AND IT’S JUST YOU AND THE WIND IN YOUR SAIL’S.. WITH YOUR SELF OR A GOOD FRIEND. MANY OF THE RULE’S THAT YOU HEAR ABOUT ONLY COME WHEN YOUR SAIL’N IN A CLUB .. INLAND NAUTICAL SOCIETY IN RIVERSIDE,CA. OR THE A.Y.M.A. THAT IS A NATIONAL CLUB FOR ALL R/C SAILING.

MOSTLY ALL SAIL BOATS ACT ABOUT THE SAME, YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR SAIL’S FULL OF WIND… YOU CAN NEVER TRAVEL IN A STRIGHT LINE…KIND OF A JOKE’…
AN MOST OF ALL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD BATTIERS IN YOUR BOAT AND HAVE THEM TURNED ON’… BE FOR YOU EVER PUT IT IN THE WATER..

CHECK ALL YOUR LINES, PLACE IT NEAR THE WATER.. CHECK TO SEE IF ANY ONE ELSE AROUND YOU MIGHT BE ON YOUR SAME CHANNEL.. SO YOU DON’T LOOSE YOUR SIGNAL AND MAYBE YOUR BOAT.

AND HAVE A GOOD DAY SAIL’N WITH FULL WIND IN YOUR SAIL’S…….
