RC Halloween Tricks Are a Real Treat
Wednesday October 15, 2008
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday of the year. This Halloween I'm going to have some radio controlled fun with the little monsters who come asking for treats. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. It's all in good fun. Here are some ideas for your own spooktacular Halloween.
- The RC Tarantula is an ever popular choice. To my list of Creepy, Crawly, and Scary RC Toys I've added a real stinker. Black cats? How about a black and white one? It's not exactly scary, but what better way to get someone jumping than to cross their path with an RC Skunk (Buy Direct)! While he only flips up his tail you could add to the realism by spraying some really foul, cheap cologne in the air. Ewwww.
- For those who want to go all-out for Halloween and have the modeling (and piloting) skills... fly a witch across your yard. This flying RC witch on a broomstick is one of the quirky airplane kits from Flying Thingz. It's the plane only. You'll have to add your own radio and engine too. But it's an RC project you can use year after spooky year. Check out Witch Wilga (Buy Direct).
