Low Battery Symptoms

Monday December 8, 2008
When your battery is running low it can seem as if your RC is just not running right when the problem is just that it's not getting enough juice from the battery pack. That's my diagnosis for this problem presented in the forum:
"I have just bought a 1/5 scale xrc-2 petrol car, have only had it about a week and am having problems. It has a 6 volt battery pack and have tried charging them and they only seem to charge for 10 minutes at a time, is this correct and once in car it only runs for about five minutes and then the steering servo starts jiggling on its own. -- Read the full message"

The clues: 10 minute charge, short run, jiggling steering servo. Here's my full reply on how to treat this problem. Have you had other types of issues that turned out to be battery problems? Come discuss them in the forum so other RC owners can know what to expect and how to fix it.
