A few months back I spotted the Jada Toys Battle Machines Laser Battle RCs in the store and wanted one (or two or all of them). I currently have three. They provide a great break from building RCs, repairing family cars, and playing Wii Sports -- all activities I've done a lot of lately (only two of which I've really enjoyed -- can you guess which ones?).

Yes, they are just toy RCs. But if you thought most toy RC cars were kind of boring -- just driving around in circles or up and down the hall or the sidewalk -- here's a bit more of a challenge for you. Laser battle involves both a bit of driving skill along with good aim. It's tag or be tagged because if you're shot (tagged) three times, your RC is deactivated.
