RC Vehicles Word of the Day: Collective

It has nothing to do with the Borg unless maybe they fly RC helicopters. The collective is what controls the up and down motion of the helicopter by controlling the pitch -- keeping 'em level -- of the main rotor blades. For RCs you use the throttle stick on the controller to also manage the collective.
