Paint a Toy RC Body

At this point, you could simply do a little bit of detail work (such as painting bumpers or around window edges), apply some decals, and call it done. But if you want something more or want to practice some more, take it further with additional coats of paint.

I used blue painters tape to cover the top half of the truck. Notice that the tape along the side is cut in a wavy pattern. While you can purchase masking materials already cut (for flames, waves, etc.) I used materials I happened to have on hand. I applied the tape to a piece of stiff plastic, traced onto the tape with a simple stencil, cut the tape (still on the plastic), then peeled it off the plastic and applied it to the truck.
