Guide Review - New Bright 1:6 Scale RC International CXT Electric Truck
Once out the box all I had to do was pop some batteries into the controller, wait 4 long hours for the truck's battery pack to charge, and I was set to go.After playing around with the RC truck and doing some minor stunts I found that the overall runtime was about 35 to 45 minutes. This above average runtime (for a toy-grade RC) helps make up for the time it takes to charge.
The overall handling of the RC truck is great. It has good speed -- low and high -- and can climb some pretty steep hills. However its basic suspension limits its turning capabilties and maneuverability over rough terrain. Because it's not upgradable you have no way to beef up the suspension.
Having four selectable channels off of one frequency is a big plus of the CXT. That means on a 49MHz frequency you can have up to four RC trucks race at the same time and not have to worry about interference from other drivers.
