Remove air bubbles by bleeding

Bleeding means to pump the shaft a few times to remove air bubbles.

© M. James
Definition: When changing the shock oil in a oil-filled shock, one of the steps is to remove air bubbles by working the shock shaft up and down. This process is known as bleeding.

If you don't bleed the shocks you can end up with pockets of air that may cause the shocks to stick or drop suddenly while the RC is moving causing it to crash.
