The RC vehicles used in micropulling are generally heavily modified or built from scratch RC trucks or RC tractors with supercharged motors, sometimes several motors or engines. They pull a specially constructed trailer (called a sled) that redistributes the weight during the pulling — until it is impossible for the RC to go further. The amount of weight is determined by the various classes and rules set up for these micropulling competitions.
RC truck pulling and RC tractor pulling use modified vehicles for micropulling that may not even resemble traditional RC tractors or trucks.
