The RC vehicles used in RC truck pulling are generally heavily modified or built from scratch vehicles with supercharged motors, sometimes several motors or engines. They pull a specially constructed trailer (called a sled) that redistributes the weight during the pulling — until it is impossible for the truck to go further. The amount of weight is determined by the various classes and rules set up for these RC truck pulling competitions.
RC tractor pulling uses tractors instead of trucks. The modified vehicles used for power-pulling may not even resemble traditional RC tractors or trucks.
