Definition: Due to the resemblance to a certain chicken bone, the term wishbone was created to describe a V or Y-shaped part of the suspension on an RC. An outdated term for suspension arm, the wishbone style is still used in RCs with a pivot ball suspension because no other suspension arm is compatible. Wishbone is also used to refer to a double wishbone suspension.
