Definition: A radio controlled vehicle that has a motor that runs off a battery pack is typically described as an electric RC. Most toy-grade RCs are electric, as opposed to the gas-powered or nitro RCs with glow engines often found in professional RC circles. However, there are many hobby-grade electric RC vehicles. Electric RCs can be quite fast and there are usually many more professional RC races for electric models.
