Definition: RC airplanes with propellers on the front (nose) of the plane or the leading edge of the wings are called pull prop. The forward-facing propellers help to pull the aircraft through the air. This is an extremely common propeller position on RC airplanes of all types.
Some RC airplanes have both pull props and rear-facing push props.
Examples:
One minor disadvantage of a pull prop design is that the propeller is exposed to more damage from crashing into the ground and other obstacles -- something to consider when you are just learning to fly.
