Definition: In the world of radio controlled vehicles, ready-to-run (abbreviated as RTR) means there is little or no assembly required to operate the RC. A ready-to-run toy RC only requires installing batteries in the controller and charging the battery pack. A hobby-grade ready-to-run RC may require a few more steps but it is still mostly fully assembled. See RTR for additional meanings and similar abbreviations.
Also Known As: RTR
Alternate Spellings: ready to run
Examples: Except for charging the batteries, most toy-grade radio controlled cars are ready-to-run right out of the box.
