Definition: On an RC track, a step-up jump is a pair of jumps where the first jump is a little smaller than the second jump. Ideally the RC will launch over the first jump and stay airborne, landing on the farside of the second jump.

A step-up jump may stand alone or be combined with other jumps into a track's rhythm section.

Also Known As: step jump
