Definition: When the front tires of an RC car, truck, or other wheeled vehicle come up off the ground and the RC is driving on only its back wheels, it is doing a
wheelie. Also referred to as
poppin' a wheelie, it's a common trick done during
bashing or other on-road or off-road driving. Some wheelies are unintentional and even undesirable. While doing a wheelie the RC is harder to control -- with the front tires off the ground you can't steer the RC.
A wheelie bar can assist in keeping an RC from flipping over when doing wheelies.
