1:10 Traxxas 4-Tec 2.5 4WD Nitro RC Car

The Traxxas 4-Tec 2.5 Nitro is quickly becoming more popular on the street racing circut. Sporting the powerful TRX 2.5 engine, the 4-Tec blows the competition away with an average top speed of 60+ MPH which is more than twice as fast as its closest competition.

The patented Traxxas-designed fully-adjustable suspension uses oil-filled ultra shocks and bellcrank steering for precise control allowing the driver to perform quick turns and recoveries as needed. 4-wheel drive allows total control without the possibility of spins and undesired turning. Another plus is that the fuel tank is mounted in the center allowing for the weight balance to be consistent as the fuel level changes.

As far as I know this 1:10 scale 4WD on-road sedan has been the only Ready-to-Run Nitro Car to win the title of Radio Controlled Action Car of the Year. Ready-To-Race out of the box, the 4-Tec needs only the tires to be placed on, fuel, and fresh batteries in the controller to hit the road and tear up the pavement. Traxxas has just recently started selling the 4-Tec with pre-glued tires so there is no guesswork when preparing your 4-Tec for race day and you won't have to worry about your tires coming off in the middle of a high speed pinch turn. Plus, the 10-fork design and realistic aluminum finish will enhance the look of any tourer.

The ease and convenience of the Traxxas EZ Start system is at your command as well. With the simple push of a button your 4-Tec will roar to life without having to break your knuckles. The 4-Tec also comes with an adjustable 2 speed transmission, full ball bearings, a 3 belt drive system, disc brakes, and racing tires on 2.0 mesh tuner wheels. The 2.5mm blue anodized aluminum chassis is fully countersunk on the bottom, including the special engine mounting screws.
