The patented Traxxas-designed fully-adjustable suspension uses oil-filled ultra shocks and bellcrank steering for precise control allowing the driver to perform quick turns and recoveries as needed. 4-wheel drive allows total control without the possibility of spins and undesired turning. Another plus is that the fuel tank is mounted in the center allowing for the weight balance to be consistent as the fuel level changes.
As far as I know this 1:10 scale 4WD on-road sedan has been the only Ready-to-Run Nitro Car to win the title of Radio Controlled Action Car of the Year. That title is certainly well deserved as it can take some serious punishment. Described as a "basher" by some, the Traxxas 4-Tec can be driven to the extreme repeatedly and come back ready for more.
Before You Run
The ease and convenience of the Traxxas EZ Start system is at your command as well. With the simple push of a button your 4-Tec will roar to life without having to break your knuckles. The 4-Tec also comes with an adjustable 2 speed transmission, full ball bearings, a 3 belt drive system, disc brakes, and racing tires on 2.0 mesh tuner wheels. The 2.5mm blue anodized aluminum chassis is fully countersunk on the bottom, including the special engine mounting screws.
