The HPI Savage LE is a Monster Truck indeed with an all new look and most upgrades already installed. HPI has gone the extra mile to include their popular three-speed transmission to give this Savage an extra lead in improved power and performance.

HPI has professional standards that when they have a RC product on the line you know for a fact that it's going to be internally and externally durable. When racing a nitro monster truck such as this you want to have a solid edge against your opponents. HPI makes this possible with their S-25 racing engine that has most of the goodies you would demand in a nitro engine such as a polished aluminum dual chamber tuned pipe for a wider power band and more reliable heat dissipation.

Already installed with a 15T/49T gear setup for top-end speed, you also get an optional 19T/47T gear high torque setup for that extra punch off the starting line. That would give you four awesome gear ratio setup combinations for optimum performance.

When giving all you got going down the straights you will have to slow down for the turns. Not to worry. With the Savage LE's standard dual stainless steel drilled disc brakes you will be able to take those turns like a pro. Doubling the surface area of the brakes makes hard stopping and slowing a breeze without the worry of your brakes fading due to heat, sand, mud, or water. With this type of braking sytem you also have now the ability to do those in the air stunts that require the use of the brakes and other wild stunts.

The extras just keep on coming, like nice size 6-spoke rims,and an incredible paint job: a mixture of metallic blue, silver, and graphite on the ever-so-popular GT-1 body. The tires aren't anything to pass up either. The Dirt Bonz tires are an astonishing 35%-40% lighter than the stock Savage tires which give the Savage LE quick acceleration off the starting line and better overall handling performance.

All of the listed upgrades come pre-installed and ready to go along with the other breathtaking upgrades such as: Cam-type servo saver, 4-gear differentials, improved throttle and brake linkage, 3 shoe clutch for better acceleration, and to top it off a high performance air filter to help protect the engine from harmful debris and dirt. You would guess that with all these awesome upgrades that they would throw in a full decked out roll-cage chassis, but alas it's not perfect.
