Steering and Handling
Range and Speed
Now speed, on the other hand, is a different situation. The Micro-T comes out of the box packing a lot of speed. Its micro-sized chassis has a hard time trying to keep all four wheels on the track. Trying to do a smooth take-off is kind of a fun challenge. Like I said before, this little guy likes to pop wheelies.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Drivetrain is adjustable for all occasions
- Suspension has adjustments for all types of racing on-road of off-road
- Has a great deal of upgrades and there are a few tutorials out there to customize The Micro-T to your liking
- Has more than one frequency so you and your racing buddies can share in the head-to-head racing and wheelie-popping fun
- Comes with everything assembled (minus putting the antenna on the transmitter)
- Everything is included to get you up and running as soon as you bring it out of the box
- 20 minute charge times with around 10 -15 minutes of runtime between each charge
- Comes with extra pinion gears to set the drivetrain for bottom end speed or top end speed settings
Cons
- (In my case) You have to have small fingers to work on the Micro-T not really a con but I thought it should be noted
- Can't go what some consider total off-road (such as mud, water, and some types of rough terrain)
- Parts such as screws and other microscopic parts are easily lost if you're not careful
- Transmitter range is not that far for being a hobby grade (mods can be done to get better range but do so at your own risk)
- Has clips to hold the wheels in place not like the traditional hobby grade where you would have locking wheel nuts
- Cannot be operated on plush carpet, grass, or sand
