James 1:10 Scale Ready-to-Run Nitro RC Stadium TrucksWith the speed of an off-road buggy and the rough-and-tumble durability of the monster trucks, the stadium trucks can handle backyards, dirt tracks, and rough terrain with speed and agility. Great for off-road racing as well as ramp and hill jumping, RC stadium trucks are typically 2WD 1:10 scale. These nitro stadium trucks are tough, fast, and just plain fun to own. Sometimes the line is fuzzy between monster truck, stadium truck, buggy, and truggy but these ready-to-run RCs are usually identified as stadium trucks. Traxxas Rustler: I have to admit to a certain bias for the Rustler. My little Rustler is insanely tough and fast. The TRX 2.5 Racing Engine with EZ Start, 4 wheel independent suspension, high torque off the line, and precise steering are some of what make the Rustler a great little RC for racing, jumping, and just kicking dirt.
Traxxas Jato: With the TRX 2.5 Racing Engine the Jato could top 55+mph. Then, with the TRX 3.3 it screams at 65 plus, faster than the Rustler or Nitro Sport. Two speed transmission, adjustable suspension, EZ Fueling, and a chassis design that helps to protect internal parts are some of its key features.
Traxxas Nitro Sport: The Nitro Sport comes with the TRX Pro .15 engine with EZ-Start & Slipper Clutch, TQ 2-Channel radio, and TRX Pro-Star Mirror-Chrome wheels. A nice little truck out of the box, it can be modified in a multitude of ways for faster and faster speeds in excess of its 38+mph specs.
Traxxas S-Maxx: Is it a stadium truck or a monster truck? It's got the speed and the body of a stadium truck with the attitude of a monster. Big racing tires and rear wheel drive, plus autoshifting, two speed transmission are standard. S-Maxx also has optional 4WD and Reverse modules. This truck is made for racing.
DuraTrax Evader ST: DuraTrax says, "Guaranteed. So durable, it's protected by a 1-year Stress-TechTM FREE Replacement Parts Guarantee!" A great little beginner nitro truck it's so Ready-to-Race that all you need is fuel -- it comes with batteries.
HPI Firestorm 10T: Described as an "entry level nitro truck" it has a G3.0 engine, low center of gravity, low-profile fuel tank, wide-track suspension, and other features that make the Firestorm a high performance racing machine.
HPI RS4 MT2 : The Nitro MT has evolved into a tougher, faster 4WD stadium truck that thinks it's a monster truck. HPI has added stronger gears, a slipper clutch, fiberglass disc brake, T-15 .15 size engine, and longer shocks to the MT2.
Team Associated RC10GT and RC10GT2: A ROAR champion year after year, the newest redesign of the original GT features a more rigid aluminum chassis, dual disc slipper clutch, easy to remove radio tray, and a quick-change rear wheel system for faster pit stops. The original GT is an entry level nitro that comes pre-assembled needing only fuel and batteries to get up and running.
Team Losi XXX-NT Sport II: Building on the success of its predecessor, National Champion and 2002 RC Car Action Nitro Truck of the year XXX-NT, the Sport has a new Mach .15, tuned rear exhaust system, Spin Start electric starter, and Fury NT body with chrome dish wheels.
Kyosho TR15 Stadium ForceThe Ready-to-Race Stadium Force comes with a GXR15 engine with recoil starter, full-time center shaft 4WD, slipper clutch, metal disc brake, reinforced suspension arms, and adjustable oil-filled shocks on all four wheels. Just add fuel and batteries then hit the dirt or gravel track.Related ArticlesHPI Firestorm 10T Nitro Stadium Truck Specs and Feature...Rustler Nitro RC - 1:10 Traxxas Rustler 2.5 Nitro Stadi...About.com Radio Controlled Vehicles Readers' Choice...Traxxas 1:10 scale Nitro Rustler 2.5 Radio Controlled T...Team Losi Micro-T RC - 1:36 Scale Electric Micro-T Stad... |
