Replacing disposable batteries for your RC vehicle can get expensive. Recharging rechargable batteries can take an eternity (or at least seem to). To save money and get more play time you can modify electric RCs that run on disposable or rechargeable alkaline batteries so that they can use quick-charging, reusable battery packs.

To do this battery mod you'll modify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the RC vehicle to accept a battery pack that can be quick-charged in 15 to 30 minutes. This alleviates the need for constantly replacing disposable batteries and it's faster than the normal 4 to 8 or even 12 hours needed for standard battery chargers.
