Depending on the configuration of your electric RC, you'll need to remove a few parts in order to reach the motor. On the Stampede, remove the tire on the rear passenger side (using the tire lug wrench) in order to get to all the screws on the gear box cover. Remove the gear box cover to gain access to the spur gear, pinion gear, and the screws that hold the motor in place.
