Unscrew the Motor Mounting Screws from Inside the Gear Box

Once you can reach them, remove the two screws inside the gear box that hold the motor. These are small screws. Put them in a safe place where you won't accidently knock them off your work space.

Remove the motor from the RC. It will still be connected to its power leads on end and the pinion gear will be on the other end.
