I bought my son an electric Traxxas Stampede. Knowing that he would like to go faster than stock speed, I also purchased a 19-turn racing motor, which I knew would give the RC a lot more power or torque along with speed but still using the stock Stampede drivetrain setup.

To do a basic wheelie with this particular RC and similar setups you first find a place that you know that the tires won't break traction. Textured concrete or asphalt generally work well.

Give a short burst of throttle in reverse and immediately follow that by full throttle forward. This allows the front wheels to come off the ground due to the slight reverse momentum accompanied by the power and acceleration of the rear tires.

If you are not able to pull a wheelie with this trick try tightening the slipper clutch/spur gear located towards the rear of the RC vehicle
