Check Your Frequency

Running Your RC Safely, Responsibly

By , About.com Guide

Check your frequency and make sure no one in your operating area is using the same frequency at the same time you are.

Running the same frequency can, at the least, cause your vehicle or someone else's to operate erratically or not at all. At the worst, your RC vehicle may respond to the other controller instead of yours and end up running into other people, driving into traffic, or crashing into a wall.
