Toys are big business during the Fall/Winter holiday buying season and various groups like to put out lists of what are expected to be the hottest sellers. Top toy predictions from Toy Wishes, Toy Insider, and FamilyFun Magazine all include at least one radio controlled vehicle for 2006.
1. Fly Wheels XPV
At first glance the small, styrofoam and plastic XPV seems lightweight and fragile. But it's surprisingly tough and loads of fun to drive and fly. It rolls smoothly across grass, dirt, or pavement as it gains speed for lift off. Now why would any parent want to put an RC with an infrared night vision video camera in the hands of an 8 year old? On the other hand, you could buy it for yourself and just pretend it's for junior. While it's the dolls themselves that make the Toy Wishes "Hot Dozen" list it is a good bet that their accessories will be flying off the shelves as well.
