For this tutorial I'm putting the Stage 2 motor into the XMODS Hummer. Start by removing the body then removing the back tires using the tool provided in the starter kit.

Want more speed from your Evolution series XMODS? Upgrade it. This tutorial describes how to do a basic motor upgrade using the XMODS Evolution Stage 2 Motor Upgrade Kit, replacing the 27,000 Stage 1 motor with the 30,000 Stage 2 motor and a new gear setup.

- Install the Upgrade Kit
- Removing Plastic Strip Holding Motor in Place
- Remove Cover on Spur Gear
- Remove Motor and Plastic Spacer
- Remove the Wheel Hub Cover and the Spur Gear
- Choose a Gear Setup
- Put in New Spur Gear and Spacer in Gear Box
- Replace the Pinion Gear
- Remove Leads to Old Motor
- Install the Motor, Heat Sink, Reassemble the XMODS
